Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I made this over fall break, which was a 3 day weekend in October. The bodice was based off of the pattern that I drafted for the gatsby dress. Luckily, I barely had any problems with it. I wouldn’t have had time to finish it if I did. I’m really happy with the way the lining turned out, especially.
I really wanted to jump on the cut-out heart bandwagon, but felt too exposed by the big hearts in the front or back of dresses. These tiny ones are perfect, though! Well, in theory. They’re a little lumpy looking, but if you don’t look too closely they’re fine. Next time they’ll be better.
