it’s hardly an original idea to make a denim trouser, however i really love them and finally made a pair for myself. i used the sewaholic thurlow (my go to pant/short pattern!) and really love the result. i made slight changes: went with a single welt for the back pocket, did some topstitching to reduce bulk, and went with a slightly different construction method (constructing the front, then the back, then sewing back to front at the inseam, then sewing the outer seam).
