How easy is that? instead of a fixed size waist belt, just create a skirt with free waist!
For this project inspired by Alice in Wonderland I used the Secret Garden 1—% cotton from Top Drawer, stiff tulle, yellow ribbon and yellow bias tape
Easy!
Just bend the upper part of the skirt, stitch, top stitch for shape, making sure you catch the tulle under the bottom belt line, so the tulle creases together with the fabric. Leave a slit on one side for the ribbon to be fed through.
Loose weight or put on a few pounds, this colourful, fun, no headache skirt will always fit!
