Description

I took a coat that I had bought at a local thrift store for $4 that was out of date and too big and modernized it based off of a coat I saw at Modcloth called Spiced Vanilla coat. I really love how it turned out! Not bad for $4 eh?

Burda is always dumb about photo uploads…I’ve had so many problems with it. This is very cute and trendy looking for an old thrift coat :)

I tried to upload a second picture of what the coat looked like before, but for some reason it wouldn’t upload properly. My day for technology probs I guess. Anyway, I have a pic of what the old coat looked like before I redid it at my sewing blog just in case you’recurious. http://sewdetermined.blogspot.com/2011/01/old-coat-revival.html
