Thor (Marvel) cape / costume for carneval

Added May 29, 2013

Copenhagen, Denmark

I made this cape for a friend I went to a carneval with. I made the cape double coated with cotton/satin. The vest I made from a hooded jacket where I removed the arms and hood. To make the cape not weighing so much on the vest, I made two big insertion holes on the shoulders. On the cape I made two big straps that go through the shoulders and attach on the trouser’s belt.
Hope you enjoy!

The festival is a blast. This year there were 100.000 people at the carneval. And thx. It was a lot of fun to make a fotoshoot in our costumes :)
