I made this shirt for my friend Dávid. I used Burda 7767. I used the collar from View A and the shirt front from View B. For some reason they didn’t match up properly but I think the result is ok.
When I started making this shirt and was cutting out the fabric pieces Dávid came home and saw me with my scissors. I said “this is your shirt” and he paled. He thought I was cutting up his clothes for one of my projects! I still laugh even now thinking of it.
I wrote a little bit about it here on my blog.
I bought the fabric at the Sali Pazari in Istanbul, it's a blue gingham.

You are so brave (bátor) to make a men’s piece! And it fits perfectly! And way to go with Ablak Zsiráf too! :)

The shirt is great and I think it’s funny that David thought you were cutting into his present wardrobe. Also, your dress is just as cute as it can be, and appropriate for the occasion. Nicely done on both!

Great shirt! Love the casual, but tailored feel.
