Recycled charity shop special. The original dress had a low waist and a pleated skirt with a button up front. I cut the skirt off and turned the top round (it buttons up at the back now), re-did the arms and sewed the skirt back on at a higher waistline.
The material is a bit loud for me to ever actually wear but for £1.95 and an hour or so of my time it’s not too bad. Once I find a better starting dress I think I’d venture out in something like this.
