Description

I made this dress out of a vintage bed sheet purchased from a thrift store. I lined the cotton sheet fabric with a cotton muslin, and added a 22 inch zipper for closure. The 1990’s pattern I used previousl;y belonged to my mother, so this dress cost about $4 to make :). That’s what I like to hear!! This dress is so fun fun to wear, and definitely keeps the compliments coming!

      It’s the first time I’ve ever found music note bedding while I was thrifting, but I’m sure they have tons on ebay! You should get some and surprise them with a dress or skirt! Even if you just find pillowcases, you could make a simple gathered or fitted skirt out of them :).

      Thanks! It really turned out better with the muslin underneath. It gave it such a different drape (visually).

    That is really cute!!! Great Job!!!
