We have a girl crush at BurdaStyle: We <3 Kathleen from Grosgrain. Today we’re spotlighting for a second time the playfulness and talent of this sewing wonder. Remember when Nora & Benedikta created the Wiesn Dirndl dresses— the traditional attire for Oktoberfest in Germany and Austria? Today Kathleen shares with us her Wiesn Dirndl reinvented, she coined it the Summer at the Country House Frock. We’re in love!

A while back Kathleen discovered a very cute dress on Modcloth.com, which was the inspiration behind today’s playful creation— her dress looks just like it doesn’t it? Bravo!

    I could not love anything more-the concept thru the creation. Has every feature I adore. I am not embarassed by saying I prefer being a “copier” rather than a designer, but this ranks apex level!

    This is a darling remake. I love Grosgrain’s photoshoots as well… it’s great to have so many varied and playful shots.

    May I suggest that you (Burdastyle and/or Grosgrain) save all the photos to be the same pixel width? That way they won’t get stretched when viewers use the “view all” option.
