Made entirely from fabric swatches and… a set of vintage handles.
Constructed at first without the lining, I then added one with an iphone sized pocket. The black has a sumptuous, velvet feel. And the lining is at the raincoat end of polyesters (tres practical!).

LOL true, that makes sense! Stick the smaller things that get lost in your purse, in this cute handie dandie tote bag! =)

It looks awesome! Love the outer fabric especially and the handles… Actually, I probably wouldn’t pay much attention to them on a bigger bag – the size you chose drew my attention to them.

hi kihli, thanks for your comment. The handles are from an old vintage bag I found for $4 at a community centre . You can buy the handles, new also. I have seen them in specialist quilting/embroidery stores – but they cost much more new. Keep an eye out for some on old bags at thrift stores, I say!
