The vintage floral girly dress

Added Apr 5, 2013

Portsmouth, Unit...

I have a new addiction, (as If I need another one in my life) and that is making dresses out of vintage bed sheets/duvet covers and generally any large pieces of fabric I can find in charity/thrift shops.

This dress is Kwik Sew 3521 made out of a vintage duvet cover, has a lined bodice out of cream poly cotton and an invisible zip. Blogged about here -

I should call it the ‘frustration’ dress since I couldn’t get my overlocker to work properly despite re-threading it an insane amount of times. in my defence the overlocker workings is still quite new to me!

Material Notes

vintage bed sheets,poly cotton lining
