I designed The Urban Yogi for my own yoga mat. A mat that is often not perfectly nor tightly rolled up. And inserting a loosely rolled mat into a skinny tube can be an impossible challenge.
So The Urban Yogi is spacious, flexible, and importantly, opens along the length of the bag. It carries most average sized, casually rolled up, yoga mats and some space for a hand towel. It closes with two snaps and has a big zipper pocket to keep your yoga pass and keys in place.
On the outside it is an understated charcoal drill. The lining is inspired by the Manipura chakra and is a golden yellow inspiring clarity, intuition and personal growth.
One of the most beloved American designers passed last night. We look back at a few of his designs.
