Description

I got really creative with this name…. but not really. I made this on a Tuesday before work in about 3 hours.

The yellow and white striped seersucker came from my fabric stash. I wanted to make a dress that I could wear without a sweater to work. And this dress just kind of came to being. I’ve been looking at a lot of vintage stuff recently, so I think it definitely hints to the ‘50s, but I don’t feel like I stick out like a sore thumb! I decided to pleat the skirt rather than gather, and I’m glad I did because it has a much smoother look at the waist, and my little black belt works perfectly with the dress:)

It looks so great, I absolutely love the skirts and the pleats give the top bodice such charm!
