I saw a similar bag in one of those magazines you get to read at a doctor’s or hairdresser’s or something. It seemed very simple to me so i decided to make one on my own. As I couldn’t remember the magazine’s name I created my own pattern. It really was very simple and I am glad and surprised by how great it turned out. Not perfect of course, but usable.
I made this bag on Dezember 23th as a cristmas present for my mum. She loved it.

Thanks. I’m glad you like it.
I cut out two discs, each one with a diameter of 34cm for the pieces at the bag’s side. The main piece is 64cm wide and circa 98,25cm long.
The measurements include 2cm seam allowance at each side.
Good luck with the project!

Thanks. Yes, it’s ikea. I love their fabrics. Not only are they beautiful but great for beginners who want to experiment without spending a fortune on material.

Great bag. Your choice of fabric pattern and contrast stripe for lining and straps work really well together and are spot on for a barrel/duffel bag!
