Description

I drafted the pattern of the dress and the bib section. I used the sleeves from a pattern in my stash: Simplicity 3511. My daughter hated this dress. So we traded it for one of her cousin’s dresses.

It sure could have used some piping around the bib. And the waist was a little too wide and tent-like for my petite six year-old. I ended up putting a black elastic headband around the waist the two times I talked my daughter into wearing the dress.

    I love the bib and fabric, such a shame your daughter didn’t like it! I’m making lots of dresses for my daughter before she is old enough to share her opinion with me!!

    I would really love this as a tunic for an adult (aka myself, lol). I can sort of understand why a little girl does not find it appealing, even so us grown ups think it looks really cool, IYKWIM.
