These trousers are made from an African cotton fabric I bought in Antwerp. I used a pattern from Burda Style Magazine 07/2011, but altered it quite a bit – smaller pockets (I made the experience that all the stuff falls out of the pockets of the original pattern when sitting, lying down, riding my bike – not that great.), narrower legs, and an elastic casing instead of the jersey waistband.
I also added a black grosgrain ribbon on the side seams.
