This is the Tellulah Dress in Hues of Chocolate & Pistachio Mint. The style of this dress is called “Gunne Sax” for you vintage clothing and fashion fanatics… and I used a vintage Simplicity Pattern 9895 to create it. Victorian style clothing makes me smile and this was a fun project, especially when it came to adding all the lacy details to the front of the bodice.
The image of the rear of the dress shows off the zipper and the eyelet embellishment that allows you lace up the back of the dress like a corset if you choose. The hemline at the rear of the dress is embellished with a touch of extra lacing to achieve a mock fishtail look. Tellulah will be for sale on my website as soon as I give her one more ironing and she’ll definitely be sent with enough ribbon to allow for the corset lacing option at the back. I’ll also be offering the dress in a few other colors.
Cotton fabric, cotton thread, zipper and a smattering of buttons.
