This dress was made from 1960 Vogue Paris Original No. 1047, designed by Jacques Heim. Though the pattern suggested crepe or other drapey fabrics, I found some polka dot taffeta and thought it might work. And it did. The bodice is very fitted, and the skirt is barrel-shaped. I added a full lining and a lapped hand picked zipper.
