This dress started off as a little daydream a few months back, with lot of fun going on in the process. Its not finished yet, still got lots to do, ha ha when the time can be found to get back into that sewing room.

Well, you most definitely put a lot of work in this dress! Looks very detailed and interesting. Can’t wait to see the finish gown!

Thank you timi55. I did have a lot of things to consider when making this dress, such as the sewing together of the top part of the elasticated shirred velvet, to the non stretch lining bust part, so I threaded wide elastic trough the band under the bust and round to the back and used large hook n eye fastener, similar to wide banded bra tops. I then sewed the two parts together where I needed to gain the overall silhouette I was aiming towards. I now have the fun part of sewing on the beading and sequins. ha ha! I normally do that part in front of the telly. xxx
