i need to make some place mats. I bought some fabric to do so, and I’ve just been putting off picking a shape. your rectangular ones look great, so maybe I’ll just do the same.

I too struggled with the shapes of the placemats and finally decided on the rectangle. I am sure whatever shape you choose will be lovely! Good luck…hey any ideas for christmas table settings? I heard about a napkin that is the shape of a christmas tree… I think I will attempt it. Wish me luck!

I’m actually finishing up my place mats right now! They’re turning out nicely :) Anyways, have you seen those dining room chair covers that look like Santa hats? Those are super fun and maybe you could try making some! Here are a couple links to some pics of what I’m talking about: http://image.orientaltrading.com/otcimg/4_2543.jpg

The Christmas tree shaped napkin sounds awesome, good luck with those!
