I have been wanting to make myself an apron to use to hold all of my sewing essentials for awhile now. The Burda Style/Sewing Republic Two-Tone Apron contest gave me the perfect opportunity. I used a couple of home decor fabrics that were given to me many years ago. I used a single box pleat in the center. I was having trouble deciding how to finish the edges and ended up this sweet scalloped edge. The pocket is divided so that it can hold my scissor, pens, and various other necessities. And finally I topped the pocket with some crocheted lace.
30 select jacket and coat patterns are now marked down to $3.99.
