You may rememeber this material from my Anda project from last summer. Yes, I cut poor Anda up because she was poorly sewn and I didn’t think she looked too flattering on me. With bits saved from Anda and some more of the same material I had at home I made the Susan blouse. I think the material is perfect for this blouse. It gives it this woodsy, old-fashioned feel that I like.
I didn’t do the ruffles intended in the original pattern, because I thought they were too much. I also ommited the sash because I had no more material.

This looks really nice! The fabric print is perfect for this style, I agree. Was the pattern easy to make up?

Thanks for your comment! Yes, the pattern is fairly straight forward. It’s just a lot of bits and pieces that need to be sewn together and it’s a bit tricky to get all the corners of the yokes right.

Well it looks perfect from where I’m looking! Cool that you could recycle fabric from a failed project, I love doing that, makes the disaster better somehow!
