I cling on to summer, so I tried to catch it in a dress. Just looking at it already makes me feel sunny.
My mum feels the same way … sort of. I think she actually was hoping for a new tablecloth to come out of the atelier rather than a dress when she saw me going in with this sunflower fabric, but already after five minutes she was thinking something along the lines of "If it fits her… it fits me too… hmmm " whilst having a very conspiratorial look upon her face.
The pattern is from burda magazine 06/2011, halter dress #116. I (stole) borrowed the idea of a different color for the inside of the pleats from clorofil from Switzerland (thank you for the inspiration, by the way) .
cotton sunflower fabric, light yellow cotton and yellow lining.
