Description

I had a piece of fabric about 70cm long and thought it was perfect for a 20 minute skirt.
I was inspired by this tutoriel, as well as this one as I included pockets.

I also added yellow piping under the elastic waistband. I made the piping out of elastic cord and stretchy polyester fabric.
I lined the skirt with white cotton broadcloth.

Love the print, love the skirt! I think for me personally I prefer an invisible hemline, hand sewn, to a machine stitched hem. Other than that I think it’s beautiful

Thanks for your comment. I don’t mind the hem but i don’t love t either. I hesitated between invisible and machine and I must admit, I went with the faster solution…

      Hi
I purchased this fabric as an end-of-roll. On the side it said “Alta Moda” I’m not sure if that’s a brand or something. You can probably look it up on the internet…
