This jersey shirt is based on a pattern from the Italian magazine La Mia boutique (October 08). It was my first pattern from the magazine and I am happy with the result. Making a shirt in knit is tricky though, so I used very thin interfacing, fusible adhesive tape and spray starch to keep the fabric stable when sewing. I promise to add an How To on that subject as soon as I get the time.
The embroidery is from Sublime Stitching.
Organic 100% cotton jersey in khaki.
My 6-year old daughter who picked the colors for the embroidery. They wouldn’t have been my first choice, since I prefer more muted colors. But now I really like her color combo!
Leopard and snakeskin are the new neutrals.
