Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I made this ruffled cocktail dress from Simplicity 2497. I did adjust the top a bit to make it less boxy, and I shortened the hem by 4 inches . It reminds me of some great 1960s patterns I’ve seem with ruffled necklines. My blog entry for this dress is here.

Poly shantung, not great to work with but I was using up fabric stash!
