This was my project for My Happy Sewing Place’s Sew Grateful challenge. The goal was to use a piece of fabric or pattern you have been given or a tutorial you’ve seen to make a garment in thanks for the sewing community we are a part of.
This pattern is a 60’s vintage Simplicity dress which I won in a giveaway from Sewing Through the Motions. I had to fudge it a bit to make it work using other TNT patterns and whilst there are a couple of fit issues I’ll correct next time, I really like it.
Coral Polyester.

The dress is pretty. Aside from the fitting issues, you should definitely play with this pattern again.
