Description

Let me say here and now, I am not a quilter…tedious is the best way to describe this project; having said that, I am quite pleased with the end result :)
It is the 6th and final project from my sewing course with Jody Lange, (Sew Outside The Lines).
The raw edges are a feature of this quilt, they get clipped and progressively fluffier with each wash, I didn’t make the back part of the quilt sandwich blocks as Jody describes, instead I found this gorgeous Australian Animals fabric and kept the piece whole backing with it.

Material Notes

100% cotton quilting fabric and others fabrics of varying weight. The inner layer is an old cotton sheet.
This quilt is the size of a single bed coverlet and is suitable for the transition seasons here in Perth.

Thanks :) the colours were meant to be bold and the quilt was originally going to be sent to Holland , but my son liked it and now has it! As for the animal print, it’s the first I’ve ever seen with dingoes and goannas so I had to have it, I really like it too!
