This coat is almost self drafted. I used a completely different coat pattern and re-drafted it several times (first into a shoulder princess seamed pattern and later into an “S” shaped seams pattern) to get this look.
The coat incorporates bound buttonholes and piped seams.
I love the combination of the lime green wool and olive piping and buttons.
You can find detailed instructions on the drafting process on my blog.

Wow I love it! Those pockets are great. I also like how the buttonholes are black, I wouldn’t have thought of doing that. PS. It was lovely meeting you in Belgrade! I flew home so I didn’t pass through there again.

Amazing construction! See how lazy I have been not checking out projects while the activity was disabled? A great piece of fashion-forward tailoring, and self drafted pattern as well. Hope it has sufficient shoulder padding so you can give yourself a huge ‘pad on the shoulder’ without much broosing :)
