This dress is my version of a perfect summer dress. It’s based on McCall 5384, a pattern from 1943. It has interesting shoulder gathering and cute little pockets. I absolutely love it!
Dress made out of synthetic linen material with a repurposed zipper on the left side.

The pattern doesn’t look like anything special from the envelope, but it looks amazing on you! Perfect fabric choice. It looks like a modern dress with inspiration from the 40s.

How very cool. You look like you should be hanging out with people in a WWII period BBC Drama. Or perhaps someone Dr. Who runs into on one of his travels :) Very nice dress, and the fit is perfect. I always have problems fixing the stupid boob area. Damn Darts lol.

YAY! I ADORE vintage styles too! It’s funny because at first the pattern envelope doesn’t really look like much but once sewn up it really has a special feel to it!!

I actually don’t like raspberry sorbet…hehehehehe…I’m much more of an ice cream person myself (chocolate!!! yummy)!

Well, you don’t have to wear you culinary preferences ‘on your sleeve’!
As far as I am concerned, I decided to ban chocolate brown from my wardrobe! :)
