Wellington, New ...
The weather’s getting colder, so I made myself some slippers to keep my feet warm in the mornings!
I used Simplicity 2778 , from 1958. The pattern came together well, and the slippers and nice and comfy to wear (and go with the pajamas I made last weekend, as an added bonus!).
There are more details over on my blog
Cotton (craft weight) upper and elastic casing. Polar fleece lining (top and bottom). Vinyl-like stuff for the sole to add a bit of durability. Interfacing on everything to add stability. Elastic to keep ’em on the feet.
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
