Description

I made the Pop Art Dress from the slightly tweaked Empire Waist Top pattern from Amy Butler’s book Little Stitches for Little Ones. It is slightly tweaked because the sizes only go up to 9-12 months. I graded it up for my 3T-sized daughter, changed the elastic a bit, chose some coordinating fabrics that remind me of a Lichtenstein print and voila! The Dress is born. You can tell that my daughter is just so happy to model it!

Material Notes

100% Cotton prints, Elastic, one shank-style button.

      Thanks.
I know! No fuss coordination. They have the greatest prints, but most if not all are 100% cotton. Their fashion fabrics selection is not the greatest (in my town anyway.)

Thanks! I grabbed it from my local library in a rush before I figured out that the sizes only went to 9-12 months! They are easy to grade though and I can’t wait to make the PJs.

Thanks. Bought it at my local Hobby Lobby. Funny enough, I just bought fabric to re-do some pillows and I think it is the same as the fabric on your avatar. Great minds think alike! lol

Thanks everyone for the kind comments! She gets excited when I wake her in the morning and tell her she has a new dress to wear. That makes the 2 am labor worth it! And sewing for kids is SO much easier than sewing for adults.
