Used a simolicity pattern for this dress. Will update the specific pattern number soon. The pattern called for a less dramatic sleeve, but I exaggerated the sleeves just a bit to make the dress stand out. I love exposed zippers so I used a silver exposed zipper and I think it adds a nice little surprise to the back of the dress. The fabric is what makes this dress.. It’s a black polyester that is raised a bit which adds amazing texture.

I did the same pattern! I found it to bunch up too much near the bust and short sleeve looked better. I also did a cut out in the front and put a black sheer fabric to make it look interesting
