I feel like I am always on the hunt for the perfect purse that is neither too big nor too small to be an everyday purse. I was excited when I found the tutorial for this great pleated purse on Warehouse Fabrics blog. All the fabrics I used were remnants I had, and the only things I had to buy for this project were the webbing for the straps and the magnetic snap. I even tried my hand at embroidery on the denim side of the purse, because I had been wanting to teach myself how to embroider for some time. Granted, I did only do a simple running stitch, but I just liked the look of the running stitch better than any other stitch type. I love how my purse turned out ad plan on making a new wallet to go with my purse…if I can get past my procrastination and start it. lol
