Meet the Penelope Pom Pom skirt – a full circle gathered skirt made from a self drafted pattern. I used a poly cotton blend that has a really nice weight and my favourite – pom pom trim! its so delightfully retro, which makes up for the hassle involved in sewing it on. This is one of the new items available in my shop – mollymadewithlove.etsy.com
My lovely housemate Melina kindly modelled for me :)

I’ve always admired pom pom trim at the store, but couldn’t think of a way to use it in a garment. You’ve done incredibly well! It looks fantastic!
