Description

I made a colorblocked version of Seamster Patterns’s Avocado Hoodie out of this cute owl sweatshirt fabric from fabric.com and a plain gray sweatshirting from JoAnn Fabrics. I love the fit and the flattering princess seams.

Key features are:
1. front pocket for you and back pockets for your honey to use when putting their arm around your back (could the concept be any cuter?!)
2. Extended cuffs with thumbholes
3. Hood (two options: meeting (as shown) or overlapped)

The sizing on this pattern is truly true to size, the drafting is great, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

More info and photos on my blog, The Sometimes Sewist, as well as photos of my husband’s Avocado Hoodie: http://sometimessewist.wordpress.com/2014/10/23/tbt-his-n-hers-avocados/
