I made this dress from a vintage 1950’s pattern, using silk yardage I purchased eight years ago from an import shop in Seattle.
Last week’s Sew Weekly challenge to use a VIP stash-busting fabric inspired me.
I also almost ruined the fabric by washing it; the orange ran all into the white. Thankfully, I was able to save the fabric by washing it in synthrapol detergent.
