Forgive me for posting this twice, when I took another look at the pictures I posted last night, I was horrified to discover that I looked so grumpy and upset. The reality couldn’t be more different, I love this blouse! I’m so happy that the pattern finally worked for me!
In my modified version, I took the pattern in a lot, probably 3-4 inches everywhere except the bust. I’m glad I stuck with the size 6 because it meant I didn’t have to do an FBA. After that, I took the neckline down a lot, and gave myself more room in the armscye. Probably the biggest change is that I added an invisible zipper and hook and eye to the left side. I’m so glad I did this, it allows the blouse to be nice and fitted (but not overly so), and I can get it on and off with ease.
I’ve included some slightly more flattering pictures, but they’re unfortunately from my iPhone, as I took them very early in the morning.
Cotton voile, bias tape, lace seam binding, invisible zip, hook and eye.

ah finally happy with the pendrell – it is such a gorgeous and flattering pattern, particularly when it fits properly! Those sleeves are super cute.

Well done LaraGa, isn’t it satisfying when a project finally works out? Your hair looks very nice too by the way.
