This is pattern 04-2008-118 from BWOF.
It as a sleeveless dress with contrasting collar, armband and waistband facings. It includes a front exposed zipper, welt-type pockets with a hip-yoke piece and a vertical “flap”. 2 pleats on the skirt align with the pocket flaps.
This is definitely the most contructed and detailed garment I have made so far and I am very happy with the way it turned out.
I did a muslin first, which was very helpful technically, because it helped me practice the various techniques this dress required.

great dress- i tried to make one using this pattern- loved the top part and hated the skirt (on me) So I ended up leaving it altogether, however your version made me (for once) regret giving up on it! Well done

Thanks for your comment !
you could probably keep the top and attach a different skirt, like a simple circle skirt gathered at the waist or something like that…It’s always so disappointing when something you’ve worked on doesn’t turn out the way you hoped…
