I purchased this fabric online thinking it was a more soft, buttery yellow. Because of my skin tone, I usually stay away from yellow, but I had a recent obsession with it. Well when the fabric arrived, it ended up being more of a mustard, which is worse for me. But I didn’t want to discard it, especially with Self Stitched September coming up! So I made a Sadie dress with the idea that I would just wear it with a jacket or sweater of some type. I have plenty in my SSS project list. The dress is all knit with skirt lining made from sone scrap white knit, so very comfortable to wear, easy to throw on and go!

Why “never wear alone?” It looks just fine—retro/conservative without being dowdy.
