A pleated 1940s dress from a vintage pattern which nearly killed me to make. Read all about the pain on my blog: http://theoldfashionedway.blogspot.com/.
Made from a kind of lighweight rayon and some crepe de chine for the waistband. Its also lined with some kind of cotton blend.

Love the dress and fabric choice! I feel so sorry about your pain, but I think the result looks totally awesome in the end!

Gorgeous! I love the style and the fabric. I love the shoulder pintucks/pleats/gathers (?) Sorry to hear it almost killed you! Glad you’re still alive and got a great dress out of the ordeal :-)
