This blouse took FOREVER! Because this blue silk is just so scrumptiously light and airy I did most of my it by hand. Its my second Colette Sencha, but modified to have a bias binding on a boat neck. I used silk organza for the interfacing. Lots of construction details here. I also used vintage glass buttons for the back. I’m including a closeup of the hand stitching I did on the inside of the bias binding. I’m rather proud of it!

You know…I just looked down and I’m wearing that blue color too. LOL Now if I could just find a job that would let me wear this color instead of a uniform!

This is really lovely! I just received this pattern and can’t wait to try it! Your hand stitching is just perfect. I’m so jealous, mine usually turns out wonky.

Practice makes perfect for hand stitching! I had so many hand cramps. And thank you. :)

I couldn’t agree more on the scrumptiousness of your blue silk – it’s divine! Both in colour and texture. I love the buttons at the back, and think it goes fabulously well with your circle skirt. Lookin’ good!
