The Monday Dress, number 2 in a set of 7 day dresses, one for each day of the week! Based on a 1960’s pattern, I thought these shift dresses were so versatile that I could wear a different one everyday and not have wardrobe worries every morning. They’ve all got their individual personalities. This is the summer day dress collection but I’m trying to work out a fall day dress collection and then a winter one. I just love the idea of having one for everyday, adding little details to make them different.
Monday is quite a burst of colour but I wanted something strong to start the week. I think the sophisticated wine red reminds us that it’s still work time ;) The bodice is lined on each dress with a key colour and this one matches the wine red.
