This is my modern interpretation of the blue and white flower show/garden party dress worn by Lady Mary Crawley on Downton Abbey.
The dress has a empire waist, princess seams on the bodice front, a darted, straight skirt and short sleeves with cuff. The bodice side fronts and bodice backs were cut on a true bias, the bodice front and cuffs on the crossgrain, and all skirt pieces and sleeves on the grain.
More details and photos can be found on my blog . Thanks for looking! x
