I’ve made this dress from Butterick’s 5029 retro pattern before. However, I gave that dress to my sister. I decided to make this one and keep it forever. I like the fit better and knowing how the pattern worked the first time I made a few changes. I didn’t line the entire bodice. Just the bust part. Plus I didn’t cut so much fabric for the skirt portion. It was just to full! Anyways, I like this Minnie Mouse fabric and so I named it the Minnie dress. Such an easy, fun dress to make.
