Made from a 1962 pattern, Weigels 2106
Just for fun, because it’s nearly summer, I made it up in a light cotton drill – mint green with polka dots and cupcakes all over it. The perfect fabric for a dress to sit around drinking milk shakes and eating cake in, no?
The pattern came together reasonably well. Some of the instructions were a little bit dicey, namely those concerning the pleat at the end of the buttons on the skirt. But it all worked out in the end and I rather like the result.
