Burda Style For people who sew

Some of you might have seen this on my blog already, but I didn’t get around to posting it here, too, as I was too busy making shoes… I went to a shoe-making course in London, and knowing the weather there I decided I needed a coat with a hood. So I made this one, from an old 60’s dress, which I would never have worn this way… More pictures are to be found at my blog (also the shoes I made, in a separate post…) Of Dreams and Seams

WOW you did an amazing job turning the dress into a coat, i must admit i liked the dress as well but you’ll get more wear out of the coat. I’M going to look at your shoes now x
