I realize it is now May, but I just thought I’d share some of my previous projects with you guys. After much debating and changing our minds, my boyfriend and I decided to go as Alfalfa and Darla from the Little Rascals for Halloween. I picked up the Kwik Sew pattern 3682, some yellow/peach flowery fabric and some muslin and went to work. I made my muslin first and it was very simple to put together (even though the lady in the store had her doubts that I would be able to do it…). I didn’t end up making the dress out of the fabric I had intended, mostly because I didn’t have time to, but also because I loved the way the muslin turned out. I made a sash, hair bow and a matching bowtie for my boyfriend Alex and we hit the town in style (well, we hit up my boss’s party in style, anyway…)
Also, I apologize for all the lovey-ness in the photos…I just like him a lot :)
