I was invited to a wedding and I needed something warm, a bit classy but not too much…. and I found THE pattern on october’s burda mag!
The fabric I chose was a bit too thick to make the gathers but otherwise, it was quite easy to make
wool, invisible zipper and thread!

oh lovely i have seen a few of these on here they are all nice, i looked at the pattern but its not made in my size and my skills do not stretch to drafting up a sizes and being 183 tall i would have to draft up and out.. too complicated for me! but this looks fantastic on you and i wish i could have one.

I love it! I was going to make the blouse version of this dress. But now I want to make the dress too! I think you did a great job. The thickness of the wool gives the dress something extra in my opinion!
