Description

This is my newest addition to my dress collection. I used a Burda pattern for this one.
The construction tickled my nerves since I used two different sizes for it – the bodice was one size the skirt part the other. Nevertheless, I think it is great and I enjoy wearing it!

I especially love the organza roses!

Sadly, I got tired of this dress and had it given away..

Beautiful dress. Always love your color sense. I think the lilac or lavender is beautiful along with the black organza. This pattern “tickled your nerves” you say. You must be very patient. I am a mad wreck when I cant get my patterns to work just right for me. : – )

Thank you Nena! Well, maybe I am not so patient but am obstinate- that’s for sure. Does the organza look black? That’s curious! It’s not black. It is dark purple :)

This is such a lovely colour combination – I really love it and would have never thought of it. You look lovely, yet again! So sweet and feminine!

And I am, as always, coveting your hair! Sigh. . . why can’t I have hair like that???

PS I read your story on your website – love the fact you turned possible disaster in to something beautiful – ie zip problem into fab flower. I thought things like that only happened to me!
